MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THESE UPCOMING FRIENDSHIP FORCE EVENTS

Thursday, April 9                – Board Meeting – 4:00 p.m. at St Mark's Lutheran Church on 6337 Clayton Blvd.
                                                   Our board will meet to start planning for the Inbound Journey of the Lincoln, Nebraska club
                                                   on October 25-29. You can access parking spots by driving through the entrance at the front
                                                   of the church on Clayton Road. Enter through the door in the back of the church.
                                                   All members can and are invited to attend.

Wednesday, April 15           – Movie Group at 4:30 p.m. – the movie pick for April is "A Great Awakening."
                                                   As always, after you have seen the movie, bring a dish to share and come to the home of Susy Alias
                                                   for another lively discussion. Please call/text Judy Young at 636-634-1458 if you plan to attend.

Tuesday, April 21                  – Book Club Meeting at 1:00 p.m.at Dierbergs Markets - Market at Des Peres;
                                                   1080 Lindemann Road; Des Peres, MO (near Manchester).  We'll discuss
                                                   “Turning Right at Machu Picchu - Rediscovering the Lost City One Step at a Time”
                                                   by Mark Adams. Please call David Motherwell at 314-561-0111 to attend.

Thursday, April 23                 – LEO – at 10:00 a.m. – we will visit the St. Louis University Museum of Art,
                                                   3663 Lindell Blvd, and then the Samuel Cupples House, located across Lindell Blvd
                                                   in the St. Louis University campus at 3663 Lindell Blvd.  It is easiest to park on Lindell Blvd
                                                   on the street near the Museum. After touring the Museum, we will cross Lindell and go
                                                   to the Cupples House. 
                                                   After the tours, we will have lunch at The Fountain on Locust, 3037 Locust Street, St. Louis, 63103.
                                                   They offer classic American food, specialty ice cream drinks, and art deco murals. This restaurant
                                                   DID NOT CLOSE; the branch on Delmar did close due to damaged from the May 16th tornado.

Friday, May 8                        – International Dinner (Lunch)! at Pan d’Olive, 1603 McCausland Ave, St. Louis, MO
                                                   63117.  We will order from a menu which offers Insalata:  salad, soup, or appetizers, Entree:
                                                   chicken, salmon, grilled kofte, and meat cannelloni, and Dessert: hazelnut tiramisu or limoncello
                                                   tiramisu. The cost is $29.00 per person. There will be a 50/50 raffle.  Please send your check
                                                   to our Treasurer, Maria Carson, 15957 Fox Trotter Court, Ballwin, Mo 63021.

Wednesday, July 8                 – Club Picnic – at noon – at Vlasis Park, Ballwin (same location as last year).
